This tool is essentially a modification of the GearWrench indexable pry bars. In this case the nail puller head can be locked at various angles for use either by hand like a conventional pry bar, or with a hammer blow at the back of the head. When the narrator says '4d to 10d nails,' he should have said '4 penny to 10 penny nails.' Nails are traditionally sized in pennies; 'd' is the British symbol for 'penny.' The number originally indicated the cost per hundred nails in pence. GearWrench is a brand of Apex Tool Group. www.gearwrench.com
